Troubleshooting a bracket set

Identify common capture problems before files enter an editing workflow.

Review a sample sequence on site when possible. A short check can reveal movement, clipped detail, or inconsistent settings before the room changes.

Common problems

  • Soft frames can indicate camera movement or a shifted focus point.
  • Misaligned edges can indicate tripod movement between exposures.
  • Mixed color can indicate automatic white balance changes.
  • Missing highlight or shadow detail can indicate an incomplete exposure range.

Recapture the complete sequence when the camera or scene moved. Keep the original problem set separate if it is needed for diagnosis.
