Keeping natural sky detail

Plan outside and window exposures that keep detail in a bright sky.

Sky detail depends on the weather, direction, time, and exposure. Start with an honest photo of the property and the conditions you saw.

While you take the photo

  • Check the histogram and bright-area warning for the sky.
  • Shade the lens from direct light without entering the photo.
  • Keep an exposure with natural sky colour and texture.

Follow local listing rules before changing the sky later. This guide does not promise an HDRit editing feature.
